"This spot is AMAZING! The dome was easy to book and find when we arrived. Communication was great & the check-in was seamless. Surprisingly private too. We booked the dome with the attached bathroom. We were hoping to see some of the Northern Lights, but a combo of cloud cover, a full moon and low aurora activity nixed that - regardless still an amazing experience ."

"Unique experience! You walk up a magical path through a forest of trees and little lights and fake candles to your designated bubble in its own secluded spot. The bed was comfy with beautiful extra wool blankets that we didn’t need because it was so warm inside! Looking up through the trees to the sky was amazing. There are clean toilets with sinks and mirrors halfway there too. In addition, there are more toilets and showers at the bottom of the path by the parking area where you check in....

"This property DO NOT HAVE ANY STAFF. The staff only comes in the morning to prepare breakfast for guests. They will emaill you a few hours before check in for the code to your room. Don't worry, if they don't there is a phone yiu can use to call the owners. This is a beautiful property! Surrounded by mountains and waterfalls it is an amazing accomodation! breakfast is amazing! "We stayed at Hotel Vatnsholt for one night and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were very welcoming and helpful – we arrived late in the evening, and they took time to explain everything clearly: the common areas (with games available until 11 pm), the breakfast setup, and then directed us to our room. "Great check-in and breakfast! Small rooms but fine for an overnight stay. The only negative would be the room was hot and even with shutting off the heat and cracking the window it was still a bit stuffy. But overall an enjoyable stay. "
