"Great views of Bodega Bay and beautiful property. However, the decor is quite dated and seems to be IKEA quality. The exercise room consists of 3 aerobic devices and limited free weights. You have to cross CA1 for breakfast. There are no areas on property to get refreshments. "

"Nice, helpful,and welcoming staff. The Waterfall house was in an excellent location and very spacious with nice views, quiet and separate from the other cottages. Surrounded by gardens. Staff was kind to let us check-in early .The down side: The stove did not work well and the fireplace was out of service, and the kitchen was limited regarding pots and pans and other items. Bathrooms need a good spring cleaning. "

"Room was fantastic; bed extremely comfortable, hot tub very relaxing. Water in the hot tub needs to be changed more frequently and the room needed a more thorough cleaning, lots of spider webs and the fan threw dust everywhere when we turned it on. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would consider coming back in the future. "

"The Highland Dell was a very well-kept and pristine property in a beautiful setting in the redwoods along the Russian River. The dining area and menu were excellent. The management and staff were all friendly and accommodating. I will recommend the Highland Dell to all my family and friends."

"This is a great glamping site. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. We stayed in on of the tents and we had a great time riding the bikes around, sitting by the campfires, playing boardgames, going out to eat in downdown and visiting the local galleries and the nearby redwoods. The campsite is close enough to town, but far enough to offer a more serene environment. I will definitely be coming back "

"This is a very old property that's been nicely updated. It's a great location walkable to all of downtown Guernville. The rooms are large and beds are comfy. On the downside, you definitely hear your neighbors walking around, talking, toilets flushing and showers running. It wasn't bad enough for me not to stay there again. It's just an old building. It's also VERY pricey for what you get! "

"We had a great experience with this hotel. The only thing we found a little odd was that they leave your room open and your key inside the room, which made us a little nervous as two girls arriving quite late. Otherwise the room was great, and the service was great!"
