"Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious. Parking lot is small but closed inside gated place. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Easy check in/out. Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit! "

"Good place to stay for visiting Syracuse. It is not a hotel but rather air bnb type of accommodation. It is within an old apartment, the interior has been renovated to appropriate condition. We get out early in the morning and back late, Thư’s we weren’t bother about the lack of hotel facilities. The man who look after the apartment was friendly and helpful. "We were not familiar and it took a minute to locate as the entrance is not facing the street. Once we found it, Giuliani checked us right in and set up a parking valet for us. She helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. Beautiful building with great history. Rooms were quiet and clean. The Manager, Domenico was an absolute treat and made us feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Grazie Mille, Lanterne Magiche! You have earned guests for a lifetime. "

"Absolutely central position behind the cathedral. Very smart and well looked after property with some lovely staff. Always smelt amazing and was cool, which is important in the heat of Sicily. Attached restaurant was lovely. Our only criticisms are: cost of drinks in the hotel and the selection at breakfast was limited and not always replenished quickly enough. Would stay again."
