Rural and peaceful

The hotel is located in the countryside so is a bit remote. There are buses but having a car is better. We visited out of high season and had the pool to ourselves every day. We loved that.

Beautiful, but not a great location

We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. There is no public transportation, and it is very difficult to get to any of the nearby beaches on foot.

Beautiful property located 10 minutes from Ortigia and the city of Syracuse, best to have a car. Grounds are impeccable and you can easily spend your days by the enormous pool. Breakfast is great and staff is pleasant. Rooms are super clean we smelled the cleaning products as we walked in. Air condition unit seems to need some maintenance, but still worked. If you are looking for great beaches and have a car, this is the place, within an hour or less you are at the isola delle correnti (southern most point of Italy) or San Lorenzo beach and Fontane Bianche all beautiful beaches. Recommend to anyone looking for places to explore or to simple soak up the beautiful weather on this pristine property.

The toilet was leaking and the air condition didn't work the first night. After that we got help and the aircondition worked. But the toilet leaked everyday for the 3 days we were there.

Could have been better

Having booked late, the only room available was not in the main hotel. It was clean, tidy and spacious but, we think, little used. The smell in the bathroom from the drains was awful until we ran some water in the shower room to fill the u-bends in the pipework. Because we were not in the main building we had no Wi-Fi in the room. The staff were attentive and helpful, the pool area was busy at the weekend with locals but otherwise very quiet and peaceful.

Heerlijk verblijf

Goed verblijf in Hotel Villa Fanusa. We hadden een familiekamer die ruim voldoende was voor 4 personen met niet te veel bagage. Zwembad was prima en schoon. Het restaurant, in. Een ander gebouw, was niet beschikbaar vanwege een besloten feest. Op 5 minuten rijden zitten voldoende restaurants met uitzicht over de baai en Siracuse. Ontbijtbuffet had voldoende keus. Alleen binnen niet veel tafels, maar aangezien het prima weer was, kon je goed op het terras zitten. Terrein is beveiligd met een hek.

Séjour Villa Fanusa

La Villa Fanusa est situé à proximité de Syracuse (5/10 minutes en voiture) il est impossible d’y aller à pied, l’hôtel se trouvant directement sur une route rapide. La villa est magnifique, les jardins sont incroyables, et la piscine est superbe ! Notre chambre était accessible par deux étages ( sans ascenseur) mais sans soucis pour nous. Notre chambre ( familiale) était située dans les combles de la villa, pas de vue mais des velux en hauteur pour la lumière. La chambre est spacieuse et bien aménagée. Petit déjeuner excellent ! C’était parfait service et accueil parfait également ! L’équipe est très gentille, c’est un plaisir. Seul bémol : nous avons eu deux soirs de fête et n’avons pas pu dormir avant très tard dans la nuit. C’est la spécificité du week-end. Le lundi soir il n’y avait plus aucun bruit donc parfait.

La piscina risulta essere davvero al top per l’ alternanza con il mare ! Non risulta sempre caotica nonostante sia ad uso anche pubblico. Per il posto risulta lontano dal centro di Ortigia ma comodo per riposare , le camere sono accoglienti e climatizzate ( unica nota il bagno da rivedere alcune cose nei sanitari ) , reception personale accogliente e disponibile , in aiuto nel caso hai bisogno di emergenze ! Colazione cosi e cosi : molti prodotti surgelati come brioche ad esempio e mi aspettavo delizie del territorio ! Piuttosto fai pagare qualcosa in piu’ ma mostra i prodotti locali del posto ! Comunque tutto sommato ottima esperienza

Sehr gutes Hotel außerhalb der Stadt

Sehr freundlicher Empfang inklusive Infos über die Stadt und Stadtplan. Relativ großes Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Sehr gutes, sicheres und kostenfreies Parken. Außerhalb der Stadt, daher nur mit PKW zu empfehlen.
