"We expected the room to be rustic and small. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The grounds were also very clean and manager was welcoming. The property description said there was easy access to the lake down a short path. But the lake level is very low and the path becomes steep and had a lot of poison oak - no poster warnings- grateful to the hikers that warned me I wouldn’t have known! "Excellent stay! I loved our cabin. It had a beautiful view, and my family really enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature, the river, and the majestic redwood trees. It was peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to create family memories. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide daily housekeeping, including room cleaning and fresh towels each day. That would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back!"

"Wonderful cabins clean and well equipped, quite a nice setup for a cabin in the deep woods it’s quite a treat. Very nice area to chill, and many places to explore , north Yuba river easy access everywhere on 49 and wild plum rd beautiful river access right by the inn. 5 minutes to Gold lake highway , numerous lakes and spectacular views of the north sierra butte. So much to see and do. No tv but who needs it, the only thing to be aware of is that the closest big grocery store is far from sierra...

"Great staff, clean and cute cabin. When raining or when snow falls from the surrounding trees, it can make a lot of noise on the roof which can disturb one’s sleep. "

"Room was too warm even with window open. The inner plastic shower curtain lining was missing. this was not a problem for us but you can see the water leaking has damaged the linoleum at the corner of the tub. The teeny tiny toilet could use an upgrade to taller elongated toilet."

"Room was ss listed, a studio cabin. Restsurant on-site is unbelievably good. Staff are friendly and helpful. The best part is the lake. It boasts the most breathtaking scenery you could imagine. I can't wait to get back to the Convict Lake Resort"
