Nice, clean, cozy, private, out of the way. Close to shopping and Yosemite.
I was a little apprehensive at first. It was very secluded and the drive there seemed off the beaten path. I found myself wondering exactly what I stumbled into. We arrived at sunset and no one was inside the micro sized camp store. My fears were relieved when Michelle (I think that was her name) came over from the first cabin and opened the door on the store. She gave us our code to open the door to our cabin and recommended a very nice restaurant/brewery within a short driving distance.
We found out there was a simple process to change the code ourselves to something easy for us to remember.
Checkout was a breeze, simply collect our belongings and close the door behind us.
Tip: if you are headed to Yosemite, November-May, by Fed law your vehicle is required to have tire chains on board.
Buy them at O’Reillys in Oakhurst (next to the restaurant/brewery. You can return them for FULL refund if not used. If you buy them from the stores close to Yosemite, twice the cost and you can’t return them.
