"I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Everything was as pictured online and even better in person. The room was very clean! The shower had excellent water pressure! The AC worked very well which is huge when staying in the New Orleans area during a heat wave! The pantry in the lobby was well stocked. They accommodated us with extra towels when requested. From the receptionist we met on the 1st night, to Mrs. Tammy, the cleaning crew, and the super mom receptionist that gave me a hug as I was leaving. "A genuinely great hotel with beautiful and clean buildings, superlative staff (especially the front desk staff, especially Menard). It seems like every year New Orleans seems to decay a little more, with a lack of pride for the city by its residents and visitors. It’s a shame that such a treasure keeps getting dirtier every year. But Hotel Peter and Paul is, in my opinion, the best small hotel in the city."

"For the rate it charged, I would have expected more. If the rate was lower, I wouldn't mind giving it a higher rating. No proper check-in area. No proper luggage storage area. The room was basic. With basic amenities. Not even a toothbrush and toothpaste. No kettle. Not even a chair or small sofa to sit in the room except the bed. The AC was not working properly.
