Southeast Austin Hotels with Bars / Lounges

"Horrible. It’s conveniently located but that is it. Most of the staff is useless, hotel is run down, food at the “restaurant” was horrible. Rooms are dated. Got woken up by hotel staff at 1:30am while dead asleep for a noise complaint. I was asleep! How? So, got zero sleep and a really bad migraine after that, wouldn’t stay again. Not up to par."

"Our room had these odd wooden blocks screwed to the floor on the left side of the bed. They were obstructed by the bed skirt so they weren’t noticeable until you hit them with your foot! The bar was okay but they didn’t have anything to drink (non-alcoholic) aside from Diet Coke and squirt during dinner. Speaking of dinner, the cafe doesn’t stay open for dinner so you have to order dinner at the bar. The poor bartender was on her 5th day of employment (she told us) and was running back and forth between the bar and the kitchen to get people’s orders. My order was wrong and had to be sent back. Oh! And there was a convention for Texas defense attorneys so it was quite loud on our floor - you can hear the doors around you closing loudly for instance. The only redeeming thing I can say is that breakfast was very good and also when I told the girl at the front desk about the wooden blocks next to the bed and how dangerous they were, she apologized and had me fill out an incident report for an injury. I sincerely hope this property takes my complaint seriously and does something about that issue as it is dangerous, especially to someone elderly OR someone who’s not steady on their feet. For reference, I’m 38 and my foot hit that block and I almost lost my balance when I fell forward. That is a serious accident waiting to happen!! "I had an outstanding stay at Hyatt Place Austin Airport. The location could not be more convenient—especially for airport travel—yet it still felt quiet, comfortable, and relaxing once inside. The staff truly made the difference. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything I needed. Check-in was smooth and efficient, which is exactly what you want after traveling. The room was clean, modern, and well-designed with a comfortable bed and thoughtful layout that made it easy to unwind or get a bit of work done. Everything felt well maintained and in great condition. I also appreciated the shuttle service to the airport, which ran reliably and took the stress out of early flights. Overall, this is a solid, well-run hotel that delivers exactly what it promises—comfort, convenience, and great service. I would absolutely stay here Again. "

"Hotel isn’t as nice and clean as in the pictures. It was updated but maybe 10 years ago. The door to the room was very basic and let the noises in at night.We were disappointed. Rust stains in the bathroom. Check the fridge settings before putting your food in. Our food and drinks froze. Breakfast was ok. "
