"This was my second stay at Rome River. Quality was really good, beds comfortable, rooms and bathrooms very clean, location excellent and the staff is always helpful and kind. Breakfast is great, but of course it’s over in their main hotel building which is several blocks away. Our room this time was on the side with the busy street, so noise was an issue. We travel often so we’ve learned to always sleep with earplugs in this scenario. Interior rooms didn’t seem to have the noise issue. ...

"This place is great if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Rome. Lucia (one of the staff) was one of the most kindest and considerate people ever. She was so sweet and answered our questions. The room is cleaned everyday and there was fresh baked goods every morning as well as other breakfast foods. Antonio also helped us get transportation to the airport even after already being checked out. Overall the staff were so kind and helpful, they definitely made this experience so much...

"Great location. Pretty easy in and out. Room had a dank smell. The bed was super lumpy and used a top sheet instead of a fitted one. The power went out a couple times at night. The shower drain would back up, and the water was cold in the evenings for a shower. Not filthy but didn’t feel clean. It was ok."

"Good place in the city. Just was a bit loud sometimes and took awhile for the A/C to get working since the power does not work without your room key. Overall a good experience."
