My wife and I spent 2 nights toward the end of our Italy trip to see Rome. The hotel is in good location with quick access to the Colosseum and other attractions. We did not have hot water on our first morning which made for some unpleasant showers to get the day started. Lacked some basic amenities such as tissue paper and toiletries were cheap from China. There was little space to sit down in the room after a day of walking. We felt that the value was not there for €150/night.

The hotel itself was in a fantastic location minutes walk to the metro and colosseum which was a bonus. The room was nice, plenty of space for my family of 3 and very clean. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and the room windows had poor curtain coverings on them and the noise from the street kept us awake all 3 nights. It was so loud we were tempted to leave and find another hotel but given we had already paid for the 3 nights we put up with it. It was such a shame as we thought the hotel was lovely and the staff were really nice but the noise has put us off and we won’t be staying again. There was also construction going on first thing in the morning on Friday and Saturday right outside our room which we were not made aware of and after a sleepless night we could’ve done without all the banging at 8am.

Only issue was that there was construction going on next door and it was loud during the day. Fortunately I was gone mostly during the day. If I needed a place to rest during the day I would have had a terrible experience.
