"The location is beautiful, easy access to Xcaret park, and animals were all around the hotel. Lots of walking included, it is a very large hotel. Food 3/5. The buffet had many options but nothing really stood out. Of the other restaurants, the meats restaurant was my favorite option. Staff was super nice, but very insistent on meeting with a VIP club representative to join their membership. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Barceló palace and the resort is beautiful and our room was amazing. The food at the al a carts good but I found the buffet extremely repetitive with little variety. I would say my biggest complaint at this resort was the quality of the drinks. We were premium which I would probably do again because if it including room service and the better room location but I was sorely disappointed in the drinks. "This place was great waterpark was awsome right when we got there i wanted to book reservations to the a la cart restaurants but all the spots were taken. But the buffet was great"

"The property was very nice, clean, and the rooms were awesome. The Asian restaurant was also amazing. The air conditioning is a problem throughout the resort. After sending 3 technicians to our room to fix the A/C they finally moved us to another room. The new room was not much better. The restaurants on the property are air conditioned but they prop the doors open so all the cold air escapes and you sweat while you eat. I brought this to the managers attention and they corrected it in the bar...

"FIrst of all, Staff, everywhere in the property was above and beyond, always with a smile on their faces. The building has beautiful halls where we could walk without worrying about sunscreen, views are beautiful, walk to the beach easy and great distance. "

"The entire trip was great, from the hotel room, services, and food. The only thing we experienced was that our A/C went out in the morning, and the room got hot. Thankfully, after 2 PM, it was fixed. But other than that, things were great."

"Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and the facilities were kept very clean."

"Excellent facilities and the staff was great. The food was also surprisingly good for an all inclusive. We enjoyed the many pools and several of the regional restaurants. The only disappointment was the beach, which had massive amounts of seaweed. Unfortunately, we were here at one of the worst times for seaweed. "
