"We had a wonderful stay at the Legendary Porto Hotel. We stayed in a triple room, which wasn't as cramped as I expected it to be (a double bed and a pull out single sofa). The hotel is ideally located in the center of the historic district - lots of sites and restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast is expansive and delicious, and lobby is rather spacious with a bar and lots of seating if you wish to read or otherwise relax outside your room. "The hotel room was beautiful, the decor was really nice and everything was clean for the most part.. I did find a dead wasp in one of the blankets though. The staff were all really helpful and lovely; I had a scary experience where my code didn’t work at night on the first day, so i couldn’t get in until another guest let me in. "There is no front desk so I cannot comment how helpful the staff is. If you are looking to stay in a 5 star hotel, this is not for you. This hotel provides you with the basic needs: bed with clean sheets and clean bathroom. The room was a decent size but had a strange layout. The bathroom was tiny but fine for a single traveler. "The only things I did not like were that first floor is up a stair case or this should have been described somewhere and one of the bathrooms was not very sound proof, but enjoyed my stay overall. Had two bathrooms, comfortable bed, location was great, felt safe, a lot of places and things to do close to the hotel. Great experience!"

"The apartment was clean, spacious, well located, equipped with new furnishings, along with a well equipped kitchen. Location was ideal, easy to visit various historical sites. The host even provided a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift. How great is that!"
