Over all ok stay. Would have been nice if more parking spaces was informed instead of just one. At booking it was noted on hotels.com web that breakfast was included. When asking about it it was not included. I informed that it was listed as included when I booked the stay but never got at reply on that.

Fraude!!!

Fraude, NO es hotel, es Airbnb, no tiene recepción, abrió la puerta de limpieza, no sabia nada ni entendía nada, nos comunicaron con un encargado, nos dio clave de acceso para el hotel y “departamentos”, SIN elevador, escaleras muy angostas y altas, cuarto chiquititito, no habia shampo, las sabanas incompletas, sin sarape, con edredon sin dubet, no habia sabana para cubrir, la puerta del baño no servia. ÑNos obligaron a pagar en efectivo. No puede llegar taxi por ser calle cerrada. Sin limpeza. Desayuno muy limitado. FUERA DE HOTELES. com!!!! Exijo reembolso!!!

Convenient location!

The place is super easy to find and close to the main train station. It’s very easy to access, you get an access code in advance for both your room and the front door. Rooms are newer, but lack bathroom Privacy. They have wonderfully helpful and kind staff and a delicious breakfast!

Great staff and great location. Room 5 has a wonderful 'living area' and a fabulous view over Porto. The bathroom is practically open to the bedroom and lacks privacy.

"Hotell Smalesen"

Trangt rom i 4.etg uten heis og fryktelig trang trappesjakt- virkelig utfordrende med tung koffert!. På badet var ikke skitne håndklær fjernet. Et portvinsglass stod på rommet, men usikkert om det var ubrukt og ment for ny gjest? Vi hadde jo dobbeltrom og da hadde det vært naturlig med et glass til hver. Anbefaler ikke dette alternativet. Uforholdsmessig kostbart i forhold det vi betalte på tidligere hotell i Porugal

Das gebuchte Zimmer im Hotel war doppelt belegt. Unter der angegebenen Telefonnummer konnten wir über 2 Stunden lang niemand erreichen. Musste ein Ersatz-Hotel buchen. Bekammen dann ein Ersatz-Appartment. Am morgen des Ausscheckens um 4:00 Uhr morgens war die Haustür verschlossen. Mussten Anwohner bitten die Tür zu öffnen. Das um 4:00 Uhr morgens. La chambre 5 était à la hauteur des commentaires que j'avais vu sur internet. Une belle chambre, une literie impeccable, une propreté irréprochable et une belle vue depuis la chambre et la mezzanine. Le seul petit bémol est sur une odeur peu agréable dans l'entrée du bâtiment. Je conseille cet appart-hôtel bien situé dans le centre de Porto

Situation idéale pour visiter. Attention dans une petite rue, les taxis ou autres transports ne vont pas forcément jusque-là. Petit-dejeuner simple mais ils vous proposent des pancakes à la minute. L'endroit du petit-dejeuner n'est pas très conviviale et pas forcément de la place pour tout le monde. Il faut prevoir son gel douche et son shampooing car ils n'en remettent pas. Pas top quand on part pour un citytrip avec juste une valise cabine

Great location- walking distance to very nice areas. The hotel was very clean and modern— nicely and simply decorated. Breakfast was just okay.— the only staff person was a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t able to keep up with making breakfast for everyone during the more popular times. Food was fine but simple. Only real issue was getting in. When we arrived the door was looked and a code had been sent only that day to allow entry. During the day I didn’t have wifi or cell so I didn’t get the code and was locked out and no manager is on site. Not only that, once I did get access to wifi and got the code it turned out that the manager had given me the wrong room number so our room code didn’t work. Luckily the cleaning lady was there and she figured it all out. All fine in the end but a bit of an unnecessary mix up — could have been avoided by sending the entry info in advance and double checking the room number assignment.

Avoid! No booking existed when arrived to hotel

When we arrived to the hotel it turned out its one of those unmanned hotels where you just use code to enter the building & room etc... However I had not received any code. I checked mail box/spam but nothing. I tried calling and sending them email but no answer. Not even the next day. We booked another hotel close by. Luckily there was still rooms available.

Het hotel is een smal nieuwbouwpand met een paar studio’s, rustig en goed gelegen in een voetgangersstraatje, pal in het centrum van porto. De constructie en inrichting zijn heel recent, modern, sfeervol en in heel goede staat. De foto’s op de website zijn waarheidsgetrouw en geven een goed beeld. Er is geen personeel aanwezig tenzij tijdens het ontbijt (8 -10hr), de opening van straatdeur en kamers gebeurt met een codeklavier. Wij logeerden in de studio “Paulo Nozolino” op de 2de verdieping; betreft een kamer met een inbouwkitchenette (zie foto). De kamer is tamelijk klein, heeft geen vensters met uitzicht, en is goed voor een paar nachten. De kitchenette hebben wij niet gebruikt, de kamer leent zich ook niet tot het bereiden/eten van maaltijden wegens de krapheid. Ijskast is een pluspunt. Badkamerverlichting is modern ontworpen maar te zwak voor scheerbeurt of make-up. Wifi is enkel bruikbaar op het gelijkvloers, in de kamers wordt het signaal te flauw (allicht wegens betonconstructie). De ingang doet ook dienst als ontbijtruimte. Ontbijt is voldoende met broodjes, soort croissant, confituur, kaas, hesp, fruit of yoghourt. (spijtig van de overdreven lage stoelen die het zittend eten wat lastig maken) Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel; tegenvaller was dat wij vroegen om op de laatste ochtend wat brood met confituur klaar te zetten om 6hr wegens onze vroege terugvlucht. De confituur had men op onze kamer in de ijskast geplaatst, maar er was geen brood in de ontbijtruimte.

Fabulous aparthotel

Fabulous stay. Room was lovely, clean and just right for our 4 night stay. Bed was really comfy and even though there was building work right across from our room you could not hear a thing. Pedro was.really friendly and gave helpful information about what to visit and how to get there, he also cooks a mean pancake! Breakfast was also nice small selection but just what you need to start your day. Nothing was too much trouble and you felt really relaxed.It is also quite central to most of the tourist attractions. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto

perfetto per brevi soggiorni

Struttura centralissima e a due passi dalla stazione Sao Bento. All'interno è tutto nuovo e la camera era molto pulita e curata. Il personale è molto cortese e disponibile. La signora che rassetta le camere è adorabile, sorridente e super efficiente! Ci ha accolti a braccia aperte pur essendo arrivati ben prima dell'orario del check-in, la camera era pronta e non ha esitato a chiamare il proprietario per darci tutti i codici e farci andare direttamente in camera! Grazie! Peccato solamente per il forte odore che si sente all'ingresso della struttura e per il fatto che si sente ogni minimo rumore, sia dalle altre camere sia dal piano terra. Ma nel complesso è ok per un breve soggiorno!

Tout était parfait! Pas de bruit et au calme dans une petite rue qui monte. Il y a tout, même un évier et des plaques de cuisson! Je recommande à 300% et reviendrai ici sans aucunes hésitations!
