Great location with local restaurants and river views. A 15 min downhill walk from metro station but we only used the metro for the airport and everything else very walkable. Staff helpful and breakfast plentiful.

GA Palace Hotel
Es war für Portugal sehr teuer, aber der Preis hat sich grundsätzlich gelohnt. Ist zwar nicht super zentral, aber man kommt zu Fuß trotzdem an viele Orte. Ich fand es jedoch störend, dass es regelmäßig „Führungen“ durchs spa gab mit Menschen in Straßenbekleidung und teils Gepäck.

S. Bento Residences
We felt so welcome, and had a comfortable stay. The friendly concierge Inéz took time to introduce us the city and gave us the valuable recommendations . The location was right next to the historic train station, and it was also close to the meeting spot of our day tour to Douro River excursion.

Incredible place and right in the heart of the tourist attractions without being noisy. Lots of stairs to get to room, but that is Porto in general.
