A great home base for exploring Porto. The location is excellent — walkable to São Bento Station, Rua de Santa Catarina, and the Ribeira district, making it easy to get around the city without relying on taxis. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. The only small note would be that the building's charm comes with some older architectural quirks, which didn't detract from the experience but is worth mentioning. Overall a lovely, well-located stay in one of Porto's most historic neighborhoods.

An interesting boutique hotel in a convenient location for getting around. Super friendly staff who were very helpful in identifying places to visit. Nice spacious room with comfortable bed, heritage furniture and modern bathroom. Quiet setting with a big garden courtyard. Nice breakfast buffet and good coffee!

Staff were all really great. Helpful, friendly and I really felt I was appreciated as a guest, that’s becoming a rare thing, except at this hotel. The breakfast was also noteworthy - I personally enjoyed the Portuguese breakfast options, but there was also a wide selection of other things that I think most would appreciate. My room and bed was very comfortable and had a nice balcony over the garden. WiFi great. Plenty of shops and restaurants within minutes.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, staff were super helpful and friendly, especially Martha at front desk, she was amazing. Walking distance to bridges and Gaia and other attractions.

This was such a lovely hotel. Very clean and cozy. The breakfast was so good. Staff was extremely helpful and spoke English very well. It was very conveniently located to lots of public transit. Highly recommend.

This property was a beautiful, serene oasis in Porto. Everything about it is beautiful, relaxing and spa-like. The staff was top-notch hotel staff, professional, knowledgeable and they went out of their way to satisfy any requests. I wish I could find comparable properties everywhere I travel. Highly recommend!

This hotel is an absolute gem. Miguel is wonderful- so knowledgeable and gave us excellent local recommendations as well as a glass of port on entry! Room was fantastic- beautifully presented. Area is ideal for walking around Porto. Breakfast is excellent too. All round fantastic experience here.

The quiet that’s needed.

I honestly don’t understand how this is only 3 star, the place is very clean, the staff go above and beyond. I selected this place due to reviews saying it’s quiet. As an autistic person I need to decompress and have peace.
