However, the building is very outdated. You have to walk up slippery stairs or take a very tiny elevator that felt unsafe. There’s only one person on site at reception, so no one offered to take luggage. The reception and dinning room are combined, and very poorly kept and dusty. Definitely did not feel like eating at their establishment. "The hotel was beautiful, and so incredibly restful. Great transport links into Rome. The hotel had a shuttle that would take you into town. Sadly, the shuttle was very very unreliable. You had to book it in advance, and even then, we had to call the hotel several time to get them to pick us up. That was incredibly disappointing. If you don't have a local phone number and have to pay for foreign phone calls, I would not recommend. You will be stuck without a ride."

"Positives: very helpful staff, especially front desk. The maintenance person fixed my glasses when they broke. Negatives: This is a terrible location. Nothing is in walking distance. You can only enter/ exit the property via the tollway. It is located on the tollway with restricted access. The bed is very hard and not comfortable. Room is bare. We paid extra for the breakfast and were not impressed. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone."
"Beautiful building and I had a nice room with a view, aircon worked well for me but for others in my party it didn't always work efficiently and it was very hot when we there in July. The bar is disappointing, very small area inside with no outlook. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill which made it quite a difficult walk (I'm 71 and quite fit). Very difficult to get taxis from the town, they don't seem to run after 8pm. The breakfast was quite good and gardens are beautiful."
