The hotel is close to Malioboro Street. However, it's a little set back from the street, so it's not noisy. There are many shopping stores, but not many restaurants. Many people eat at food stalls. You can also go to the Royal Palace and Tamansari within a 30 minute walk. My room was on the 5th floor, WiFi connection was not good and sometimes disconnected.
