"Front desk was efficient but not super warm or welcoming. Room and balcony was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping was very efficient. Nespresso machine was a plus. We would book another stay. "

"My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was affordable for the duration we stayed. The majority of this area (Mendocino/Ft. Bragg) is ridiculously expensive. We opted for an economic stay versus an expensive, luxury stay since we were going to spend very little time in our room. We stayed in room 319 on the second floor. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor and highway 1. Be forewarned, this hotel is definitely outdated, but it had everything we needed: it was fairly quiet, had a comfy bed, good water pressure, and was clean! Since our room was closer to the highway, it was a bit noisy with the sliding glass door open, but was fine once it was closed. It didn’t bother us at night. Your room will also not be turned in daily, but they give you plenty of towels and the garbage cans are big so it was fine for our stay. Overall, we we’e very satisfied and recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area."

"Parking was easy. We only interacted with the night employee and she was kind, and friendly. She gave great recommendations for local dining and was helpful. The property was clean overall, though the rooms were a bit dated (particularly the tub, sink). AC did not work in our room. This place is pet friendly."

"Small parking lot , a bit of a sewer smell around the sink , but not enough to complain about. Beautiful access to the beach. Friendly staff . Enough amenities , no onsite restaurant but plenty of great places near by. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We traveled with another couple and rented two cabins. The front desk manager, Steve, was very accommodating. Our bed was very comfortable and all the amenities were nice. It's all about the view and it was well worth it. The restaurant staff was very nice but their menu could use some upgrading, like more seafood and portions adjusted. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Rent #5 cottage, it's absolutely wonderful! "

"This is a really nice hotel, just on the edge of downtown - not in exurbia. It’s almost like a little hacienda, with lovely common areas - a big plaza with a fire pit among other amenities. The breakfast is very good; weekends they have a buffet, weekdays ala carte. It’s not cheap but a very good deal if included in the room rate. We would definitely stay again; in fact we are returning tomorrow (it’s on the bookends of a drive up the California coast)."
