"Communication was non-existent - despite sending plenty of messages through the Expedia app, in the end I only got to speak with the owner when I was stood right outside the property. The beds are next level uncomfortable - very springy and one of them had a proper dip in its middle. Not recommended."

"The hotel was great, clean modern room, comfortable and would have been spacious but the sofa bed was made up. Food in the restaurant wasn't very appetising this time though I'm afraid. Breakfast was OK but the curry I had for dinner was not good, chewy chicken and hard nan bread!"

"A lovely quirky hotel close to Hertfordshire University. Many food places close by however, the onsite restaurant was delicious and the staff friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms were generous sized and well equipped for our stay. We would definitely return. "

"I have stayed before on many occasions, although no staff to greet you now, the lock boxes for room keys works effectively. Staff are super lovely, very accommodating. Breakfast was tasty, paid extra for cooked option, but plentiful continental. Would highly recommend. Warm regards, Heidi and Evie😄"
