"There were one or two drawbacks, my room was on the second floor with no lift available, however, my luggage was carried up the stairs for me by the receptionist. There was a problem on the first night with air conditioning, but this was remedied the next day. Overall I would not hesitate to return to the hotel next time I am in St Albans. "

"Communication was non-existent - despite sending plenty of messages through the Expedia app, in the end I only got to speak with the owner when I was stood right outside the property. The beds are next level uncomfortable - very springy and one of them had a proper dip in its middle. Not recommended."

"The property is small and cozy as described, facilities are tidy and clean. We couldn’t receive the check-in instructions until we call at check-in time, the problem is solved quickly. A reminder that the toilet door is a reused old front door, that means when you lock it, you should lift the handle up first and then turn the button. The shower door needs a bit hard push to lock and avoid water came out. Overall is satisfactory! If a mirror added inside door the wardrobe, it would be great. "
