"We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. And to top it all off, pets are welcome, a small dog park is nearby. Our dog gets pretty excited when she sees we are going to the Latch! "

"This is a hidden gem. The outside is deceptive, not having great curb appeal, but the rooms are modern and spotless with comfortable beds, good quality sheets, and large tvs. The staff are pleasant and efficient, breakfast is adequate, and amenities include a pool table, e-bikes and kayaks. Location is good and price can't be beat!"

"We stayed in the Royal Dorset Suite while staying in Victoria on Feb 3-6, 2026. All the comforts of home with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room. More than enough room for six people (or more) and easy walking distance to everything in downtown. I definitely recommend this hotel and their suites. Jason B "
