"Hotel was good. Local area not so good. Stayed 1 night to get flight out of Naples airport . Only ventured 1 block from hotel to get something to eat. Plenty of taxis because it’s right at the cruise line terminal. Probably where people stay the night before their cruise takes off. 30 minutes to airport for 30 euros. "

"Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops. "Our first time to Naples. Great looking cation across the street from Napoli Centrale. The staff were great and very helpful. We stored our luggage there before checking in and after checking out. Nice deep bathtub that provided much needed therapy. Both of our all day excursions left from the hotel. Lots of food choices nearby and a Supermarket across the street too. We paid extra for a room facing Mt. Vesuvius and enjoyed our view over coffee every morning. "

"This is in the heart of Naples, so bear in mind, it’s a gritty city. Quiet alley like street. Lots of graffiti on the streets nearby. Very short walk to Spacca Napoli, one of the main streets to stroll through the gritty heart of Naples. Elegant dining room for breakfast though the breakfast buffet was relatively ordinary by Italian standards. Glad we stayed here, though. "
