"Our stay at the Heidelberg Inn in the June Lake Loop was amazing and one we will never forget. The location is perfect — walking distance to June Lake and Gull Lake, and right across the street from Tiger Bar, June Lake Brewery, June Pie, and Balanced Rock Grill & Cantina. "My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The reviews I read mentioned it was hot with no AC, but our stay was comfortable in mid June with a fan that was provided. The hotel seems a bit older, but charming in it's own way. The upstairs restaurant was open, but not the lower pizza place. The hot tubs are choice after a day on the road. Patio or balcony with all rooms a plus! "Very clean the staff was amazing and nice and the pool was also clean and nice"

"Overall the experience was good. However there was one major item that spoiled our stay. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. The main bed was great. However, the sofa sleeper was awful. My companion was so uncomfortable and wound up sleeping on the couch cushions, which was only marginally better. An establishment like this should never allow such a worn out, poor quality mattress to be in service."
