"We booked the Silver Lake Pool and Inn for a one-night stay to celebrate a birthday. Four of us stayed in the the queen double room and we all absolutely loved it! The view of the hills and the neighborhood were gorgeous. We loved the furniture and design (it felt like a hip and groovy house) and the beds were comfy. Beautifully designed property all around - room was spacious, clean and comfortable with great views. Nice to relax on the rooftop with a cocktail in the evening. "It started on a good note, we came a day early and we could rent the room an extra day, quick response but weird, Venmo an individual before getting any information but ok. We got to the room and it was as cold as a refrigerator. I had read another review that there was only one shared thermostat in the house, so we found it on the fourth floor and it was set to air conditioner at 57° no problem, we turned the heat on to 66. "The hotel room was clean, but the bathroom and rest of the room were somewhat run down. The carpet in the hallway was very worn and a lot of the public areas were fairly run down as well.
