"This hotel is cute, but the area that it is in is extremely loud. Also, it’s on the border of Skid Row and the Fashion district. If you’re not familiar with LA, these parts can sometimes be a bit rough. The staff was never really available via phone from the room so we had to walk down to the lobby often when we needed things. Also, when you call the hotel, no one picks up. Keep in mind that this is an older building that has been renovated, so it has quirks."

"Had a good experience here. Please note, this is not a conventional hotel. It is a no contact Air BnB style place with private rooms and common areas. The room had a private bathroom and a lock, but the kitchen and living room were common areas. To get the entry codes I had to send a photo of my ID to the staff, which was tricky because there is no way to do that in the Hotels.com app. Once checked in I was very satisfied with the accommodations and the neighborhood. I used street parking rather than the pay parking. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby that are open late."
