"I didn't know what to expect when booking (got a great deal through expedia) it also came up as a 2star (which personally I never go for) but it looked fine (better than dated / tired alternatives in the area) so thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. "A unique property overlooking the stadium. Huge room which felt nicer than being cramped. The best bit? The breakfast that goes on to 11am. We were in Milton Keynes for an all day festival and so many hotels finish breakfast at 9.30 or 10am....which when you're out late and quite frankly, hungover, you can't always eat that early. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great place!"

"Wonderful experience throughout ! From the thoughtful details to luxurious surroundings loved the self controlled heated towel rail in the bathroom and the gorgeous free fluffy dressing gown to wear everywhere and stylish tote and matching flip flops! Food scrumptious too which was added surprise! "

"This is a lovely hotel. Each room has a microwave, plates, bowls and cutlery, fridge and iron and ironing board plus the usual kettle. The beds are kingsize and really comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower was powerful. The walls looked freshly painted. The man on the desk was friendly. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The hotel itself could do with some upgrading, rooms need a mini fridge and bar doesnt offer rhe widest drink selection, but there is a pub across the road to make up for this. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and this definitely added to what was overall a very pleasant place to stay for one night. "

"The staff were amazing anything wasn’t any problem, the room was spotless but at times especially in the evening the rooms aren’t insulated, could here there tv and talking using the toilet and wardrobe to the early hours on our second night.. the shower was a good size, the breakfast choice was brilliant couldn’t fault that at all will go there again "

"We really enjoyed our overnight stay at West Lodge. We had a tranquil garden room so there was no outside noise at all. We also enjoyed being one of two couples in the dining room. Upon ringing the bell the owner arrived promptly and took our orders for cooked breakfast. It soon arrived and was of excellent quality. We will definitely book again if we are in the locality."
