Ritz Carlton is an established brand for luxury hotels, I expected nothing less.
The hotel facility was nice and our executive suite was clean, comfortable. Happy with that.
Poor review of the hotel is due to the lack of friendliness from all around. The check-in was so so, every little experience while staying here created some issues for unhappy experience. For example, as an executive suite guest, we could only have breakfast at the executive lounge. Typically that would be ok, however, our friends and family who are not staying at the hotel are not welcome to the lounge. Created some problem. had to call the hotel to get permission to eat breakfast at the hotel breakfast hall. In another example, my sister, who is local in Tianjin, not staying at the hotel sat with us at the lounge, the servers asked her to pay. Paying is not a problem, but just how it was brought up was super unfriendly and unpleasant, ruined our experience that could have been much more relaxing.
Will not stay here again since the staff and service people of the hotel are not friendly to make the stay pleasant.
