We had a very pleasant stay at Central Hotel Shanghai. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to many attractions, shopping, and restaurants, which made it very easy for us to get around. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in and check-out process was reasonable and smooth. We did have a small issue with the shower drainage, but after we contacted the front desk, someone was sent to our room right away and took care of the problem promptly. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The convenient location, cleanliness, and quick response from the staff made our experience a good one. We would consider staying here again on a future visit to Shanghai.

situated directly at Nanjing Street; excellent service; fantastic room and laundery service, quiet rooms, clean, great breakfast - we have been there for two and a half weeks and enjoyed it so very much. Absolute recommendable.

Our stay at Central Hotel Shanghai was great. The staff is very kind, and they always provide water, which I really appreciate as a tourist. The only thing I would complain about is that there is no self-service laundry. Laundry service is provided by the cleaning staff, which is a little expensive. Despite the price, my main concern is that I prefer to take care of my own clothes. Also, the protein options at the breakfast buffet were somewhat limited. I would rate my stay 4 out of 5 stars this time. I hope to come back again!

We had comfortable stay in a clean room with all the necessary amenities. City view was nice and the location was great where we could walk to many places with inexpensive didi ride back after hours of sightseeing! Wifi wasn’t great but then it really isn’t at any hotels we stayed in China. We definitely won’t mind staying here again when we come back to Shanghai!!

No smile at all in this hotel. Except the gentleman helped us to check in on the very first night! At 1am😊. Surprisingly, Breakfast was very poor & terrible. Stayed just for 2 days & can’t tolerated the poorly breakfast. No air conditioning outside the room. Although, the location is excellent. 2 minutes walk to the shopping street & 15-20’ walk to the bund or Yu garden. It’s not cheap hotel compares to many others surrounding within the area.

Great stay, quiet room (2210) near nanjing east and the bund. Clean hotel with nice view. Only bad thing is that the soap and shampoo sucks had to buy from convenience store. Tea wasn't consistently topped up. Also the mala peanuts are not free!! Haha they are part of the mini bar.
