"We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the room was and how quiet the place was. A lovely large window to let fresh air in while sleeping, a comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay again, much nicer than a clinical hotel room in our opinion."

But were shocked by the condition: - bathrooms were extremely dirty, smelly and in bad repair (dirty toilet seats loose) - common kitchen very dirty, messy and extremely poor equipped - rooftop bbq area dirty - rooms extremely small - mattresses uncomfortable - breakfast was basic but ok. Pro: Billiard table was fun. Location was perfect."

"It was not at all clear from the listing on Wotif that the room that I booked had a shared bathroom and shower facility. There were many other notes on the listing including mention of a shared kitchens, but there was nothing about there being a shared bathroom. I very rarely leave a negative review but in this case I feel compelled to. This information should have been front and center. I paid $296 for one night."

"Excellent stay again (this was my second time)The location is perfect, a 5 min walk from Central train and bus station. The bed is huge and really comfy, everyone is so quiet. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The kitchen and showers are excellent and all the staff are just lovely. Highly recommended."
