"I checked in during their normal published office hours, but there was nobody onsite. It was a public holiday in Sydney, so perhaps that was why. I had to ring the emergency number to get the key code, but they answered quickly and i was inside within 5 minutes. Property was great, nice and clean, spacious and comfortable. "A large room with a bar fridge as well as a kettle. There is a microwave in a laundry room on the same level as the accommodation. The TV remote appeared not to work, but I wasn't that interested, so I didn't ask for it to be replaced. Very convenient check-in until 10.00 pm, as the accommodation is part of a pub building. On the same site as a small shopping centre, so there's a Woolworths and lots of free parking."

"Nice stay in Coogee! Loved the gym area and the two lockers/ storage provided for luggage. Mainly for backpack or small carry-on. Which worked for me, because I had no oversized baggage. Convenient gym on sit and really close to the Coogee to Bondi walk, which I enjoyed!
My favorite part was the smaller setting of the hostel. It made it easier to socialize and I felt like I made friends easily even though I was only there for a few days.
Kitchen is well-equipped and even had a bin for free...

"Great location and the room was clean but that’s about as far as the positives go. The room was very outdated with a tiny bathroom and the tap kept falling off while trying to adjust the shower temperature.
Felt more like a backpackers than a hotel. The key for the front door is easily accessible to the general public if you know where to look and the rooms didn’t lock from the inside.
We thought the hotel looked quirky from the photos but it needs some serious TLC."

"Hotel location was peaceful and the receptionist were very kind all the time. There is one time children room the light bulb went off so when we inform them..the action was fast.
In the standard room the heater was slow and a bit old...so very noisy during night as we need it in winter time.
Breakfast very simple and nice. Wi-fi was very good. Actually, first we did not get the wi-fi access as they said it's not in the package but we manage to show the booking confirmation that includes wi-fi...
