"We had a double room above 30th floor, with awesome city views - we could see Alcatraz and peek at both the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. We were right by the elevators and while I could hear them, I was so tired from days that they didn't keep me up or wake me up, but that might be a problem for some. Great lobby and lounge/bar downstairs to meet with friends before heading out."

"Its pretty much dead center of the City life in SF. We walked back from the club after a day if bar hopping through the City. Bathrooms are really clean so thats a good sign in my opinion. "

"When we checked in there was a $150 safety deposit we didn’t know about and honestly in the end we regret not spending that on a different hotel. It’s not the worst but there are for sure better ones. The shower drain was completely clogged with hair when we tried to take showers, had to dig it out. The hardwood floors were nice enough but they just cut the carpet around the beds so there’s jagged pieces of carpet sticking out from underneath. "The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. The room I stayed in was okay. The bathroom was small and the furniture was peeling. How you watch TV in the room was a little new which was appealing. "Great value for your money, Close to public transportation, Easy access to the freeway."

"In town for a concert at DNA lounge. I arrived early, parked my car for free, and walked around the city until the show started. There is food, nightlife, and a grocery store within a couple blocks. After the show I walked back to the room. Had another show the next night, walked to the BART station and did the same thing. Check in was easy. Service was great. Convenience was stellar. I probably saved more on parking than I spent for two nights."
