"Changed to handicapped room for way more space and comfort for our 6 night stay. Staff helpful in arranging this. Lots of nearby places to buy good quality food for diy breakfast in room w well appointed kitchen. Fresh fruit and yogurt downstairs was helpful too. Only drawback is the vacant lot next door where unhoused people sleep and leave litter behind in the morning. Otherwise cool neighborhood in Brooklyn close to Park Slope"

"Review is written from viewpoint of a super commuter who values price, convenience/proximity to subway, and has a private bathroom. Those boxes are all checked. The neighborhood is great - steps away from Threes Brewery and Nenes Tacqueria among many more restaurants. The hotel is very simple. The room admittedly was very small. Several subway options <10 minute walk. I would stay again. "

"I didn’t like that they charge me $35 every night for supposedly credit towards breakfast that cost $47 per person a glass of wine for $17 etc to force us to buy from the hotel. Terrible"

"So if the staff are reading rhis, I wonder if a Platt or a longer Platt name has ever stayed there, other than me? I laughed with the staff about wanting to stay here because my last name is Platt..... (a few letters longer). I had a magical stay. I enjoyed the rooftop. The service was prompt. The rooms were clean, the showers worked, i'm in downtown new york city, what else can you ask for? Next time I come to new york, I'm staying here especially now that I know the neighborhood better."

"Hotel was clean and staff was amazing. Had an issue with our shower door not opening and they had it fixed as quickly as possible. Every member of the staff was amazing and helpful. Rooms were nice and cleaned well every day, Breakfast was a good plus and the coffee was spot on!"

"Follow up from front desk wasn’t consistent. Air conditioners didn’t stay at the desired temperature. I’m sure that’s a cost issue, but for the price of hotel not acceptable. Elevators constantly broken. Being on 7th floor was brutal when they were down. Valet and doormen were outstanding! All in all just an OK experience. "
