"Hotel,room,grounds & swimming pool area was very well maintained & spotlessly clean....we loved the pathway around the grounds for walking our dog & was so surprised to have so many dog litter bins provided also an outside dog bath/shower amazing .....The staff was lovely everywhere in the hotel ....a great buffet breakfast & during our stay popped in to lounge area where you had a free drinks machine which we had excellent hot chocolate from after our dog walk....hotel is set within a lovely...

"Room was spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. We managed to charge our car for free with the destination Tesla charger. Pool was really warm - didn’t mind the charge of £5 per person per day - we were informed of this beforehand so no surprises there. Did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food "

"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. The rooms are spacious and high-end; we easily fit a large dog crate in the room with plenty of floor space to spare. The complimentary breakfast was high quality and delicious. "Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return."
