When we quieried this the barman said they don’t have triple rooms with private bathrooms so I showed him the booking I made along with this room still being advertised. "The bed was far too small - I didn't get a decent night's sleep there due to that. There was a power socket on only one side of the bed - very inconvenient. The wi-fi was very good but very fiddly to connect to. We were charged to park there - this is just grasping. The single lift was glacially slow. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant apart from the woman on reception when we checked out - she was abrupt to the point of rudeness."

The location is excellent, close enough to the city centre to walk everywhere but still quiet enough to feel relaxed. "Cleaning the room is only done if you explicitly ask for it at the reception each and every day! And you have to ask them for fresh towels. The bedlinen was never changed during our stay. This is rather cheapskate for a £ 147 per night hotel. "

Breakfast was a good continental breakfast (best croissants I have tasted in a long time), and they provided bags etc. for grab-and-go. Basic amenities were provided for self catering - I would recommend that the hotel replace the coffee table in the room with a small dining or bistro table."
