"The food and drinks were amazing ! Our favorite restaurants were Pelicanos and Dolma. Room service was reliable and timely. The pools varied in temperature so you could pick which one you liked most, although many people do wake up at dawn to claim chairs. Our room was always clean and comfortable. Overall we would absolutely come back to this resort again ! "

"The balcony in Room 1012 in Tower 1 looks at 2 LP tanks, a wall, and some brown plants. We had two rooms in Tower 1. Our other room was 1307 and it had a much better view. Do not use the elevator in Tower 1 with more than 4 people. We loaded 6 into the left elevator and the elevator stopped between floors for 20 minutes. Maintenance had to reboot the elevator to bring it back to the ground floor. Breakfast is usually good in the buffet. Eat lunch at El Pescador by the ocean and get the Baja tacos. The Frida Mexican restaurant seems to be closed. The theater is closed and taped off. Snorkeling is great in front of the resort. Our son and daughter loved the Silent Party. This was our 4th time staying at the Grand Park Royal. "

"Lets start from the beginning, the food at this resort is terrible. We stayed at Royal level and the food wasn’t any better then the buffet. The sewer smell in the resort is very off putting. We were made to change rooms because of a leak they had in the room under us. We came back from breakfast and the water in the shower and tub were shut off, we were told they had to turn it off due to a leak. We were understanding and told the staff its fine and when we would be back so our water could be turned back on. We came back to our room and there were five men in our bathroom cutting a hole in the ceiling with all of our personal belongings everywhere. At rhis point we were upset. Went to the desk and we were told it would be five minutes. We were lied to and the manager caught us as we were about to go to the pool and told us we had to change rooms. All in all it was about 5 hours lost of our vacation. This resort needs alot of updating. The best part was the wild life. "

"It is extremely diffivult to get in touch with someone for room service, for simple requests such as towels or water. It is also impossible to get a reservation at one of the restuarants that required reservations "

"Lot of pool options and beach is close by … but food was bad and room service is a surcharge unless you get a platinum upgrade. Ended up spending the extra money on room service because of kids but was definitely not worth the cost. Overall very family friendly and friendly staff. But food is a deal breaker for me so it would be difficult to book again "
