"ANTS!! There were ants everywhere including our bed. When we told housekeeping, they told us some of the other rooms were having the same issue. The blankets also smelled like mildew. There is no fridge or microwave in the room. They have a communal kitchen for an added fee. The somewhat of a silver lining is their cafe which was okay..a bit overpriced for what it was though. The staff in the restaurant were sweet. I unfortunately will not be returning."

"We loved our stay! The home has been beautifully restored and updated with modern comforts. The happy hour and fresh coffee and muffins in the morning in the common areas made our stay feel more personal than a typical hotel stay. Highly recommend this unique experience!"

"Stayed in this same room nine or ten years ago. Still beautifully decorated as was then. King bed comfortable, but pillows were a little thin. I sleep on my side, so I had to double the pillow over. If you have an extended stay and want to unpack, no chest and drawers. An armoire with one large drawer. Bathroom had standard tub with shower curtain. Water was hot enough for me but not for my wife who likes lobster boiling temperature. Problem with HVAC, fan would blow all night on us,...

"We will not be returning. The front desk is only open for a few hours in the morning and before our stay started we called multiple times and never got an answer. Once we were turning in for the night we pulled the linens back to find a dead bug smeared into the sheets as well as random small stains scattered around. Once we called the after hours number someone came and told us “welcome to the country folks” and was very condescending. The room was also insanely dusty and an allergy nightmare....
