"The room was so dirty! The floor had what looked to be dried body fluid, there were bloody hand prints on the crown molding, there was no hot water to take showers, like none! The staff member sent to our room,to look at the water issue, seemed as if he hadn’t slept in a week. He looked at the sink and said “I think there’s a propane issue”… What?? From walking in and looking at the sink… Also, there were men walking around all hours of the night, getting on and out of their vehicles… It was very sketchy and because I couldn’t even shower, the filth from my feet because of their floor, I wouldn’t recommend staying here! Ohhh, we had to wake up the front desk person, who was passed out in the office, just to check out!! Get it together people"

"Parking was easy. Yvonne and James are amazing. Rooms were clean. But could use new comforters and new fabric chairs in room. And better shampoo/conditioner "

"Hotel was very nice and clean and good location, quiet. A short drive to town, too far to walk. The Main Street of Angels camp very quaint but shops close up early. I think the area is feeling the effects of decreased tourism. Nice to visit for one or two days max. "

"Hotel Lumberjack is a modern/updated classic 2 story motel. The room was quiet, it is about a block from S. Washington St (the main drag in downtown Sonora). The room had many convenience amenities; microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, large TV with over 50 channels. On the desk, there were USB charging ports, HDMI port (didn't use) in addition 2 AC power sockets. AC power sockets was also available bedside. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast (waffle maker, yogurt, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, hot and cold cereal, milk and juice, coffee and hot tea, etc. Heating/AC is provided by, motel standard, under window heat-pump. These units are kind of loud by nature. The room is not spacious if you’re going to spend a lot of time in the room moving about. I’d defiantly stay here again."
