"Great place to stay, stay again"

"We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night."

"The grounds at Whitney Inn are beautiful and well maintained. We had a perfectly good stay here. The only reason for a less than stellar review is that we chose this Inn because my parents had previously stayed there and loved the room and amenities and wanted to have the same experience again. However when we arrived, it turned out our room was in an auxiliary building across the property in an older building without all the beauty and charm of the Inn itself.
