"This was my fourth trip to Madrid and this has been my favorite hotel thus far. It has a great location on a quiet plaza, but close enough to major sites (between Opera and Callao metro stops). It was only a short walk to Plaza Mayor and also the famous churros of Chocolateria 1902 (which we frequented daily). The hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Madrid. "

"I’ll keep it short! Check in was slow, pool was closed for repairs or maintenance but everything was good. Laundry is limited and small but free! Location is pretty good but on a large hill. You will often have to walk upwards into the more “main” parts of the city during your stay"
