Marlin Hotel Stephens Green
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was nice. Customer service was excellent, like crazy good. We had an issue with the AC in our room and after trying to figure out what was wrong gladly changed us to another room and gave us 2 vouchers for a couple of drinks for the inconvenience. Nice touch. Rooms are smaller but not overly so. Beds were comfortable. The property is centrally located so you can walk downtown and go, go, go. It's just enough off the main area that its quiet. "
"Had a wonderful but brief stay. The hotel is beautiful - like a Victorian club but with all the modern amenities. The staff are responsive and welcoming. Our room was luxurious (small but to be expected for Europe) with all the amenities, including milk in the bar fridge for us tea drinkers. Had a tasty complimentary welcome cocktail on the terrace when we first arrived. We didn't have time for breakfast but got a takeaway box of scones (piping hot and delicious) and pain au chocolate - also yummy. Hotel is located close to Embassy Row. Great, safe neighbourhood for walking and only 25 minutes from the city center. Would highly recommend, particularly if you want something luxurious and not like the cookie-cutter chain hotels."
