"We have stayed here 6 times and have always loved the resort. This latest stay just a week ago in mid June was not as good as it used to be. It seems that due to reduced occupancy our favorite restaurant which is Frank & Lola’s did away our favorite item which we used to order every time we went there. We loved the Osso Bucco, which is a veal shank, but possibly because of cost they did away it. I feel like eliminating popular items could potentially be a small cause of tourists staying there....

"Beautiful resort! Kind and attentive staff, our butlers Ricardo and Alex were amazing and did their best to make our stay more memorable. Drinks were good and rooms were clean. Our only dislike was the swim up diamond club oceanfront pools. They need to be cleaned for sure. Debris at the bottom, bird droppings on the sides; and people are leaving their floaties behind. There was a deflated floaty in the bushes. While the room spotless, the swim out left much to be desired."

"I think the most unique thing about this property is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and helpful.it was by far the most family friendly resort we’ve been to, wish we’d discovered it earlier! There are sooooo many pools, the kids pool area was not gross and didn’t make you feel like you were giving up part of your vacation stuck in the B tier pools. Just as good and pleasant as the adult side. We did the diamond club, I think it was worth it. Our butler, Gina, was FANTASTIC....

The only disappointing experience were the extremely limited amount is staff to handle the Kids Club, if the kids were outside for activities, nobody stay at the club to receive any other child! I never found anyone at the club in order to register my son for any of the club’s activities!!"

"Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening...
