"It was BAD from the moment we arrived. The hotel was in the dark due to a power outage because of a nearby fire. Hours later once power was restored more problems began due to false room descriptions and poor cleanliness. We booked a room for 5 through Expedia that was advertised with a King bed, sofa bed, and twin trundle bed. After checking in, we noticed there was NO trundle bed. The front desk immediately blamed Expedia’s false advertisement and said that they didn’t offer any trundle beds...

"I thought it included breakfast but it was not offered to us when we checked in. There was only one person working in that area with many guests milling around and all of the signage reflected charges for the food so we opted to eat elsewhere. The parking lot signage also reflected parking fees which they did waive. The room was clean but was either very warm when the A/C cycles off or cool when it was on."

"We had food at the bar and being from the UK just disappointed that steak would come with crisps and although ok wasn't that warm for the butter to melt. Probably should have tried somewhere different for food. I think car park is expensive and think resort fee should be optional. That said a nice feeling in the gardens and rooms so would stop again. Was nice to be downtown to walk and see the area a little."

"It is a great old venue with a little improvement would be a destination. First get better beds. I have to say in all my 68 years by far the worst bed I ever slept on. Also patio looking over vineyard not cleaned or swept so not useful. The truly positives was the amazing friendly staff. Keep them all and give them raises."
