"The property location is fabulous, right across from the downtown square. The room was clean and nice. We did not like how many added fees there were that were not included in the rate online. $20 per night to park; $40 fee per day that covered access to a gym off site, internet and a free water bottle in the room that turned out to cost $4 at checkout. And. . . our internet never worked despite a wonderful guy named Michael who came and spent about an hour in our room with an IT guy on the phone trying to get it to work on 3 different phones. I understand that things happen sometimes, however when I mentioned it to the front desk person while checking out we were not offered anything for our trouble. so 2 of the 3 benefits of the daily fee weren't accurate or did not work and they did not offer to waive the fee. That is poor customer service. Shout out to the maintenance guys working in the hot sun on the grounds who were also happy to provide directions to the ice machine! And to Michael for his efforts with the internet issues."

"I've stayed here twice, and both times have had staffing issues. Once I came to check in, and no one was at the front desk...and no one came, for a VERY long time. I had to ask the restaurant staff if anyone would come. Eventually they did, but standing in a lobby hot and tired and on a timeline is not fun. I also ate at the restaurant both times, and they only seem to have one waitress. Again, waiting and waiting. What should've been a simple dinner turned into a 2 1/2 hour exercise in patience while starving. I was told they are understaffed. Hopefully the problem gets resolved bc it is a beautiful hotel, and I really loved my room. But service is what gets the repeat business, so I likely won't book here again."
