Mr. Joe & his staff was so friendly & helpful. I've stay for 3day & 2 night. The surrounding was good & the breakfast also very nice . Only a few things I think that they can improve is to provide a tea/coffe & mug in the room because they provide cattle but no mug provided. I have to borrow from the cafe & also the television on my room is not function properly. The channel sometimes got sometime none. But overall is ok & the pool also good . Convineant for family with children since the seperate pool for children & adult

Love this place, simple, clean and cozy. They even have a sharing place at roof top to chill. The host is very nice, reliable and helpful. This place is surrounded with mini mart, and bazaar, 1min walk to beach and busking place (walk further) Breakfast is awesome, nasi lemak is 💯 No issue with wifi

Uncomfortable to deal with the staff. The wooden floor board is unsafe for barefoot walkers. Electricity wiring is very poor and unsafe especially in the bathroom. Swimming pool water is dirty.

Joe and the staff are very nice and friendly, but we saw a few things that disappointed us. Good: 1- comfortable bed 2- the room looks like it’s entirely made by wood 3- Friendly staff 5- 4to 5 min walk to restaurants and the beach. Weakness: 1. Low quality breakfast, little choices, cold coffee/tea. 2. No proper toiletries, old sanitary ware 3. Rough & old towels. Mine got a big hole. 4. Useless TV for foreigners 5. Untidy sitting area at the first floor, need to dispose the rubbish, like the empty beer cans/containers.

Room size is reasonable and location near to Teluk Nipah beach. Outside the main road is very happening compare to any other side of P. Pangkor. Breakfast is satisfied, got choice of Nasi Lemak bungkus, Roti Canai, assorted Kuih muih, beverage come with black coffee and milk tea. The only that I dislike is the whole room are fully covered with wooden board, including window. This cause inside the room is very dark.

A Real Gem
We originally booked for 3 nights but loved it so much we extended by a further 7 days. The rooms are wooden huts with large double bed, tv , shower etc. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh bedding & towels. The room has WiFi which had an ok connection, it’s much faster in the communal area. Location wise it’s brilliant, a 2 min walk to the food halls and beach, then a 10 min walk to Coral Beach which is nicer, there they have a couple of beach cafes. In the next road you can feed the Hornbill birds at 6.30pm which is great fun. The owner Joe really makes this place, he’s really friendly and offers lots of tips of where to eat, best beaches to visit etc. I would definitely return here if we ever come back Pangor Island

Good Location Nice Owner and Staff
5 mins walk to Nipah Beach and 15 Mins walk to Coral Beach. Many Eatery and shops near by. Joe is an excellent host, he gave us many good recomendations and advise. Joe even send us to the market for fresh seafood shopping! All I can say is EXTRAORDINARY HOSPITALITY! Will go back again soon, with frie ds and family.

We spent Excellent weekend in Pangkor Island! We saw monkeys, tropical birds, snakes, clean water and best food even for breakfast.

Great place, excellent service
Mr Ragu and his staffs are fantastic. Breakfast was simple yet full of taste. Room and bathroom were clean. A good size swimming pool, just few steps from your door is super convenient - my kids were really enjoyed it. Overall, we were satisfied and definitely would recommend it to our friends and families. Keep it up Mr Ragu!

The owner of the property, Joe and all his staffs are so friendly. We feel like home. The room is clean. I like the special design of the room and hotel which made of wood. Walking distant to Coral beach (10 mins slow walk). Caution - a lot of mosquitoes. Anyway, the hotel management will handle it without using chemical. Free Wifi

Room would be great if the musty smell is removed.
Location was great. Hotel staff and owner are nice, helpful, pleasant people. Room smelled musty. I believe either the air conditioner is leaking on the bed to creat that smell of the bathroom door which gets wet from the inside is the cause of the smell. The room door is made of slates and their are gaps in the skates. The door needs a curtain or the gaps need to be filled in. The whole room is wood so you can hear the neighboring room clearly. Breakfast was local food - not so bad. I stayed 3 days, 2 nights but the room didn’t get serviced on the second day. Location was great - near food, shopping stalls, lots of water sorts, good beaches. I had a bad experience with the ATV dealer across from Coral beach. We told him what he wanted, he asked us to come back in 1.5 hours, then didn’t have what we needed.

Super Clean
I think the plus points about this accommodation are its cleanliness and the premium quality of the beddings. Something which are not that common among budget accommodations. The location of Joefisherman's Inn adds to the many advantages as it is only a short walk to the beach and many restaurants.

We really appreciate clean room and washroom. The wooden flooring, walls, windows and door bring back nostalgic feeling. Breakfast was simple and delicious. We were given another room when we complained about someone smoking next door. Mr Ragu is so kind to apply some lime juice on a deep cut on my little toe before he covered my wound with a plaster. A short and sweet stay.

Nice inn/ B&B near to beach, distance about 15m
Had a pleasant stay at Joe Fisherman Inn. The inn is very basic and "organic". Rooms walls/ doors are all made of untreated wood. Must be careful of splinters though. Since the owner try to implement eco/organic features to the inn, doors made by the wood are not symmetrical. Little gaps can be seen here and there. Since they are made from untreated woods, sometimes they might have holes in it and were only closed by pushing in tissue papers! If you need privacy for honeymooners, hmmm... you can try other resorts/inns, but hey after whole day in the sea snorkeling or walking in the beach would leave you tired to care for the rest. Bed and pillows are otherwise so comfy, a 5 star quality!! There is no fridge or telephone in the room. Owner, Mr Ragu is very hospitable as well. You can get some tips on snorkeling,cheap tour and eatery.

Comfortable place, close to the beach
Mr Ragu, was helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room with 2 single beds. Amenities were basic, but comfortable. There is a rooftop area to dry clothes and just sit around. Breakfast was also delicious with a selection of nasi lemak, toast as well as traditional kuih.

We used more to ecology friendly kind of treatment for our pool. We are more to ecology friendly Inn to give a new experience to our guests. Thank you

Perfect location, great owner, lovely pool
Walking distance to both major beaches Nipah and Coral. Owner is around most of the time (Mr.Ragu) and he is very welcoming and has great tips, also invited us for a delicious curry on the house one lunch time. Only downside is that the room has no windows which makes it quite dark, although given its proximity to the beaches we were always back when it got dark so it didn't matter too much anyway. The pool is also very refreshing and large! Great overall stay, would certainly return.

Home away from Home
The owner, Mr Raghu and his team of staff were extremely friendly, caring, accomodative and entertaining. They were always there to talk to the guest, keeping them entertained with many subjects and even organised outings for the hotel guest with safety and economy being the key features. Highly recommended for family, couples and group accomodation.

the owner of the inn is very friendly and helpful. He is very resourceful on providing us some recommendations for food and transport. It is a unique fisherman theme hotel stay with a very chilled air-con and comfort bed. Buffet breakfast included (unlimited delicious nasi lemak with a hot teh tarik)

Excellent hospitality by hotel staff and owner
loved the hospitality and service rendered by the hotel staff. Would like to commend the hotel staff for their effort in retrieving a piece of luggage that my family left on the ferry - they went all out to help us as the bag contained important medicine for a family member. Also, excellent suggestions provided for food and activities in the area by the owner Mr Ragu.The hotel room is comfortable and clean but no wifi is available in the room. Setting is rustic and homely . Pool is non chlorinated with spring water that is cleaned daily. Hotel is walking distance from Nipah beach and coral bay.
