Stay was good, service staff at reception very friendly & helpful . House keeping staff - very good, room cleaned well Breakfast buffet wide spread except on 28/6 - one friend took the watermelon & had food posioning. One of the night at 0207hours there was fire alarm, everyone peek out of room to see. Called reception - no response.

Evertime I went to Ipoh, I stay in Excelsior Hotel. The price is reasonable and near to food,shopping and massage. Is clean and quiet.Surprising on ramadan period they offer us free buffet breakfast.

Fully renovated and good air conditioning. Delicious breakfast- curry noodle and good range of continental and local options. However pillowcases too soft and may have to go for neck and head massage just 1 min walking distance.. ha ha

Not the same as previous. No more small towel, only have 2 large towels. Shower door can even closed, water splashes out. Car park was terrible if you drive an MPV. Is not clearly mark. Horrible if you are a new driver. I have been staying her for the past 10 years but this recent visit turn me to look for others hotel.

Friendly staff. Easy and quick check in. Breakfast is fine. Room is clean with coffee and tea facility with a kettle and fridge. Added benefit of a safe provided. Will stay there again. lts convenient and walkable to food area. Parking available.

A reasonable hotel in the town centre with lots of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Seems to do a lot of bus tour business. Room in bed are good but furnishings dated, and common areas are dingy.

The hotel location was in a very convenient place. All hotel workers are very nice. They had a nice breakfast with hard working friendly staff. The room was very clean. The only thing was at night they had a Karaoke or some sort of party at a lower floor. The sound travelled to the hotel room. But it was a very minor point. Overall, it was a good hotel with the price I paid and made my Ipoh stay great.

Good location and staff. Terrible wifi
Room was decent size and overall clean. Breakfast is ok but not amazing. Staff are quite friendly especially the restaurant staff. Parking is in the building next door which is connected to the lifts. I won't be coming back though as the wifi was unusable. In 2024, wifi should be fast and reliable.
