I think this is the best hotel in Kuantan. It has all the amenities and facilities needed for an enjoyable stay, with 2 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, and right next to the beach, it really gives a resort feeling not too far of a drive from KL. But just a note for improvement, being a hotel that is on the beach and with pools, you should provide drying rack in each room. We had no place to hang our swimwear to dry, and used towels need to be changed right after usage, means twice daily just...

Hotel staff were amazing. Local food was delicious. We were given a free upgrade without asking which was a nice surprise. The hotel is on the other side of the river so you will cross a small river by boat. Car parking facility is secure. All hiking trails start within the compound of the hotel and the national parks office/counter is also within the compound of the hotel. Food was reasonably priced. We also took a private boat ride on the rapids which was organised by the hotel.

Room 405 quite smelly at balcony because facing restaurant toilet which has some plumbing leakages (can be seen from external wall opossite room 405) Bedding and pillows v comfy and clean. Lovely place to go for a short break. It maybe a 3-star (I think) resort but you would not realize as the service is 5-star. The food is amazing in the resort. Simple breakfast and I had their well cooked porridge everyday. In the evenings, the grill and even their buffet was good and affordable. Just outside the resort, there are a few shops for local food. Visited a Chinese place and a Malay food shop. Overall, great place to free the mind and get better and greater ideas.
