"This is my 2nd time staying at the Castle Inn. It’s my go-to hotel whenever I’m visiting SF because it’s affordable and closeby to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, bus stops, etc. The area it’s in is pretty quiet for the most part and very safe and clean! Will continue to keep booking at this place for my future trips to SF!"

"It was great as always, the valet upon arrival was somewhat difficult and the man in the valet front did not seem too interested in helping us, maybe he was overwhelmed? The police had to come ask us to move because we were blocking the way. There was a lot of cars waiting to be parked and we were not told where to go. They just said park anywhere and we will get to it. Other than that, this hotel is perfect."

"The hotel was nice and clean, so was the room we stood at, it had a larger table and l shaped sofa for us to eat at. The surrounding area was not a good or clean area, we arrived on Friday night around 11:30pm and couldn’t believe how bad the surrounding area was, there is a lot of homeless and drug users roaming around the street, the one good thing is that there is security at the front of the hotel and the limit access to the hotel, you must have a key card to enter."

"Perfect place to stay for a solo or couple to stay for 1-3 nights. Excellent location! All kinds of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Only drawback no elevator, rooms are up some steep stairs. Not recommended for elderly or disabled. Otherwise felt like I was staying in a charming boutique hotel in Europe. "
