"We were pleased with our 2 night stay. Well located for the newly โrenovatedโ historic area with the city walls, dancing man and Tudor House all nearby. Well located for cruise ships and Isle of Wight ferries. Staff were polite and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and also the spa treatments. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within an easy walk. The communal areas were nicely furnished and the room was comfortable. Check in was easy and available at the stated time. Parking was good and similarly priced to nearby commercial car parks. We had two small room issues which were dealt with very quickly by calling reception. I would stay there again."

"A beautiful room with extremely comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom too. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We didnโt eat at the hotel as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It would be a pleasure to stay again."

"Stayed here one night before a cruise out of Southampton. A wonderful big hotel with Starbucks on site and a large pool and hot tub along with steam rooms, ice plunge and sauna. I only use the pool in the hot tub, but there were lots of people using the rest of the amenities. Room was small but very comfortable. Bathroom has a glass door, which was fine for me because I had my own room. I donโt think I would be as comfortable if I were sharing with friends . There would be no privacy unless the other person left the room. Other friends, I was traveling with suggested bringing a cheap shower curtain to throw over the door and that would solve all the issues a . My only real issue was that the restaurant was out of things that I wanted to order for dinner. In the end, the food was not that great. Otherwise, you canโt go wrong with this hotel. I would definitely stay here again, but I would have food delivered."

"We enjoyed a comfortable, no-frills, two night stay that I couldn't fault. The breakfast was tasty and there was an ok election considering it is a Holiday Inn Express so doesn't have the full options available. There was plenty of parking which was free. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is that it was a bit expensive for what it is. This could be reflective of the area and that fact that it's close to Paultons Park. It's on an industrial estate off a main road so don't expect lovely views out of your window. It's perfect if you need somewhere to stay for a night or two whist visiting the area though."
