He didn’t know we had pre-paid for buffet breakfast so had to find details of booking to show him. The staff on in the morning were totally different; very friendly and helpful. "We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. The rooms are spacious and high-end; we easily fit a large dog crate in the room with plenty of floor space to spare. The complimentary breakfast was high quality and delicious. "Room was excellent, floor to ceiling windows, a streaming TV, and a bed as comfortable as a cloud. However, the lady on breakfast was quite rude, and breakfast was a huge disappointment. I was there for half 6 and the eggs were hard, bacon overdone and juices were either not shaken properly or watered down. A great stay, but let down by a poor breakfast experience."
