"Wonderful in every way. Exceeded expectations. Rooms were clean and spacious. Home was perfect. Staff were courteous and very informative. And the breakfasts were as good as anything we ate all weekend. Next time we are in New Orleans, we will certainly stay at Ashtons."

Despite the immediate proximity to so much, it was much quieter than I expected. "The pool was closed due to a glass breakage. The staff were friendly and did their best to address the issue. It would be nice if coffee were offered in the morning, or some other modest compensation for the loss of use of the pool. The restoration of the midcentury building and the courtyard garden is of high quality. "

"Room was not up to par to what we seen on the pictures before hand. There was literally no furniture in the room just two beds. The tv didn’t work at all. There was a closet but no bar to even hang clothes on. There was no iron to iron clothes. There was no hot water the first two nights we were there. In the bathroom there was mold all over the walls. "The concierge “butler” Shawn was helpful and pleasant and always available. He was a 10/10. The room could use a deep clean. Bathrooms and linens and all were spotless. Just the floor and carpet need a deep clean, not the daily staff fault. The pool and courtyards were charming and of another era. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. "Gorgeous boutique hotel with fantastic updates that also keep the charm and history of a French Quarter building. Beautifully decorated. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is very close to Bourbon Street, so there is quite a bit of noise, especially at night. I sleep with earplugs anyway, but I know the hotel does offer them if needed. Courtyard is fantastic and has plenty of seating. Would definitely stay at The Celestine again when in the French Quarter."
